This stunning three legged vessel is reminiscent of a traditional timber carved piece but instead has been carved from a raw black stoneware clay. The outside has a swoosh of iron oxide wash to created added texture but the inside remains unglazed. The black clay has been brought up to vitrification temperature to ensure food safety if you wish to use it as more that just a sculptural piece.
