Nourish 2024

My entry for this years Auckland Studio Potters annual functional ware exhibition at Allpress Studio in Auckland was entitled ‘Tūī Trinket Boxes’. The Tūī revered in Māori culture as a messenger connecting  the natural world with spiritual realms. Not just known for its beautiful plumage, but also seen as a symbol of life and a guardian of travellers. A beloved emblem of Aotearoa’s unique biodiversity and cultural identity.
